This dense and warm fabric is especially luxurious. In Central Asia, silk velvet was traditionally used for occasional apparel and is still being referred as "Royal Silk Velvet”. We use velvet made entirely from silk and a little blend of cotton. Due to technology specifications, pure silk velvet can be produced only by means of textile machinery. Handwoven process presuposes a blend of cotton. Whilst many luxury fashion brands and designers often use silk velvet for the front parts of cushions, Heritage Geneve makes no compromise when it comes to quality and we go the extra mile to use the same fabric for the entire design.
