How To Care For Your Suzani Cushions

- Daily Maintenance:
In order to maintain the appearance and distribute the filling of your Suzani cushions evenly, plump your cushions daily. More specifically, pat both sides of your cushion to separate the filling and infuse air back into your cushions. Additionally, rotate your cushions frequently to ensure even wear of both sides.
- Cleaning:
If you were to spot your Suzani cushions, treat spills and stains as soon as possible to prevent them staying on your cushions permanently. Do not scrub the fabric as they are very gentle. Instead, apply wet or dry cleaning agents to absorb residue. Make sure to not wet the filling and dry naturally instead of using direct heat.
- Outdoor Care:
If you are using your Suzani cushions, which is something we love to do, there are few things you should be aware of. Firstly, don’t leave your Suzani cushions permanently outside but rather store them undercover or indoors when they are not being used. This will eliminate the sun damage on our gentle fabrics. Secondly, be aware of sharp objects in the nature (such as buckles or pet claws) and try to keep your cushions away from them in order to keep them in their best shape.
